The mission of Alaska State Horseshows (ASH) is to promote and protect the integrity of all equestrian sport disciplines and safeguard the well-being of our horses throughout the State of Alaska by:


  • Supporting and encouraging existing and new competitions at all levels, both rated and non-rated

  • Sponsoring a year-end awards and recognition program for ASH members to encourage participation   in shows at all levels

  • Providing educational opportunities related to equestrian competition and horse welfare for our  members which include riders, owners, trainers, show management, officials and parents

  • Promoting fairness in competitions

  • Supporting and participating in other regional and national organizations with goals similar to our own
